About Me

Emma Christian: I'm a mother to 4 beautiful children and married to my best mate Grant. We are on the mid-north coast of NSW Australia, where we live entirely off-grid in a fancy modern yurt while working to develop a viable and sustainable homestead. I write about things like keeping goats, keeping chickens, building a homestead, living in a yurt, living off-grid, productive garden ideas and simple living. This blog aims to document it all. It's beautiful, crazy and messy as we transition from the life we live towards the life we value. So grab a cuppa, pull up a comfy chair and I hope you enjoy your visit!
